Meet the Speakers for
Therapeutic Landscapes II
Keynote Speaker: Joanna Latimer
This keynote introduces the concept of “landing creative health” as a way of rethinking the relationship between creativity, wellbeing, and place. While creative health is often framed in terms of access to the arts or measurable health outcomes, this paper argues for a shift toward understanding how creative practices take hold - materially, relationally, and over time.
Keynote Speaker: Leah Gordon
This keynote will explain Leah’s ideological journey from revolutionary socialism to pre-agricultural gather hunters…via her visual observations on peasant communities present and past, including the exhibitions and films, ‘Monument to the Vanquished Peasant’, ‘A Pig’s Tale’, ‘Kanaval’ and her ongoing project, ‘The Perfume Harvesters’.
